Tariff Review Report

On 10 December 2021 the Board of Commissioners (BoC) of the Liberia Electricity Regulatory Commission (LERC), in fulfilment of its statutory mandate to set and approve tariffs under the 2015 Electricity Law of Liberia (2015 ELL), made a decision on the Tariff Application of the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) that was submitted on 28 June 2021. National Census of Electricity Operators

Since the end of the Liberian civil conflict in 2005, significant effort has been made towards the rehabilitation and reconstruction of damaged electricity infrastructure. Currently, the operations of the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) have been substantially restored and the national utility supplies electricity to customers in parts of Monrovia and suburbs. Supplementary, a number of small-scale, unlicensed operators produce
